Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day

I’ve been using Mrs Meyer’s Geranium Laundry Detergent for about 3 months now and could not be happier.

Writing that statement makes me feel like June Cleaver wearing pearls and high-heels in my 50’s dress. Apple pie anyone? But who cares– Mrs Meyer’s laundry detergent rocks! It’s made with natural essential oils of geranium, rose, and clove that smell like you’re in a day spa. It’s biodegradable, phosphorous-free and they don’t test their products on animals. Heavenly scented, free from harmful chemicals AND earth-friendly, it makes me feel better using this stuff.

The nice thing about Mrs Meyer’s Clean Day is that there is a whole line of fabulous cleaning products that can be used throughout your household. There are hand soaps, dish soaps, multipurpose cleaners and surface sprays that come in Geranium, Lemon Verbena, and Lavender scents. To try a Cleaning Kit sampler pack, check out Amazon.com
I recently discovered that Mrs Meyer Clean Day also offers a detergent for babies called Baby Blossom.

Oh, if only I knew this existed when my little guy was younger! I had such a hard time finding a laundry detergent that didn’t irritate his sensitive skin, so it seems a little bittersweet that I’m just now discovering Baby Blossom. According to the product description, it has a lighter scent than their other detergents, with wildflower blossoms, butterfly violets, lemon, honeysuckle and mint. I don’t even know what a butterfly violet is, but now I’m think I need to have it. It’s formulated for HE machines (if you’re fancy like that), is biodegradable and phosphate-free and dermatologist tested. I feel like I should have another baby just so I can have a reason to try this detergent.

Ok, that might be a bit extreme, but I do wanna know what others think of this product. So if you’ve tried it out and would like to comment I’d be forever grateful.
